August 2019 - May 2024

During my time at Kennesaw State University, I earned a 4.0 GPA and was actively involved in several extracurricular activities and societies. As Vice President of the Alpha Pi Mu Industrial Engineering Honor Society, I worked to promote excellence in the field of industrial engineering. Additionally, as President of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, I worked to build community and provide valuable resources to members.

I also pursued minors in Business Management and Applied Statistics & Data Analytics, which allowed me to broaden my skill set and knowledge base.

My hard work and dedication were recognized with several honors and awards, including winning 1st place in the senior design expo out of 575 students, the Student of the Year Award in 2023, and being named a finalist for the Student Affairs Leadership Award. I also maintained a spot on the President's List every semester, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence.

 

Overall, my experience at Kennesaw State University showcases my passion for learning, leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities. It highlights my commitment to excellence and my ability to balance academic rigor with a robust extracurricular life.

Data Analyst
Imerys

August 2023 - May 2024

During my senior design project at Imerys, I successfully implemented initiatives resulting in significant cost savings, including reducing truck contracting expenses by approximately $45,500 per year. Additionally, I achieved a breakeven point of approximately 79 days, equating to less than three months, demonstrating efficient project management. Through strategic enhancements, I improved Tube Mill 81's throughput by approximately 38% and its product quality by approximately 4.36%, contributing to overall operational improvements.

Furthermore, my contributions led to a remarkable 27% decrease in kilowatt usage per ton and a 24% reduction in CO2 emissions per ton, aligning with sustainability objectives. These achievements were pivotal in attaining the project's overarching goals and were recognized with success at the Fall 2023 Senior Design Expo, where our project emerged victorious among 115 competing projects.

In terms of software proficiency, I am adept at utilizing MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word for project management and documentation purposes. Additionally, I have experience with statistical analysis using Minitab and video editing using Sony Vegas Pro v13.

Supply Chain Analyst Intern
HD Supply

May 2023 - August 2023

During my tenure as a Data Analyst Intern at HD Supply, I had the opportunity to contribute to various critical projects that significantly improved the company's data analytics capabilities. By leveraging my proficiency in SQL, particularly in Snowflake, I was able to extract and transform large-scale datasets. I contributed to streamlining cost-related operations but also helped the organization make more informed decisions regarding pricing, procurement, and inventory management.

Collaboration played a pivotal role in my role as a Data Analyst Intern. I actively engaged with cross-functional teams to gain insights into the intricate workings of the SKU lifecycle. This collaborative effort enabled me to refine the data analytics processes and align them with the broader business goals of HD Supply. By effectively communicating with various stakeholders, I ensured that our data-driven solutions were both feasible and impactful.

In addition to my database and modeling skills, I also demonstrated proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau. I utilized Tableau to create informative and visually appealing data visualizations. These visualizations became indispensable for presenting analytical findings to key decision-makers within the company, allowing them to better understand complex business problems and make data-driven decisions. Moreover, my proficiency in software and programs such as SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word enabled me to work efficiently and contribute effectively to the team's success. My experience at HD Supply as a Data Analyst Intern has not only sharpened my analytical and technical skills but has also highlighted the importance of collaboration and effective communication in achieving data-driven success in an organization.

Engineering Consultant

I worked as an engineering consultant for Kennesaw State University, where I was responsible for conducting surveys to identify major problems in various companies. I utilized my strong analytical and problem-solving skills to collect and analyze data effectively. With my expertise, I was able to provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve the companies' operations and boost their bottom line. My commitment to data collection helped me to identify key issues and develop effective solutions for my clients.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Kennesaw State University

August 2022 - Present

As an undergraduate research assistant at Kennesaw State University, I had the opportunity to assist in the development of Lean Principles in Maintenance. Through this experience, I collected and analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data, gaining valuable research skills in data analysis and interpretation.

One of my proudest moments was presenting my work on sustainability at KSU's Symposium of Student Scholars in April of 2023. This presentation showcased my ability to effectively communicate research findings to a diverse audience and demonstrated my passion for making a positive impact through research.

Overall, my experience as an undergraduate research assistant allowed me to gain valuable skills in data collection and analysis, as well as presentation and communication. It highlights my commitment to making a meaningful impact in my field and my ability to thrive in a collaborative research environment.

Supply Co-op: Total Productive Maintenance
GE Appliances

May 2022 - August 2022

As a Supply Co-op for GE Appliances, I gained valuable experience in preventative maintenance and process improvement. Through my work, I was able to save the company approximately $37,170 per year in preventative maintenance labor costs and improve TPM compliance for door liner presses by 5.43%. Additionally, I contributed to a 159% growth in work order discovery for the 800-ton press and achieved a company record for rebuilding a GE Profile™ Series 27" Wall Oven.

I also played a key role in improving overall equipment effectiveness and downtime data transfer, and remade all preventative maintenance sheets for the 800-ton press. Through TPM audits of door liner presses, Komatsu Press, and Line 2 Drawer Machine, I was able to apply 5S and quality corrective actions to presses based on TPM score, improving their efficiency and reliability.

My hard work and dedication were recognized when I won the Outstanding Co-op Presentation Award, showcasing my ability to effectively communicate complex data and insights to a diverse audience. Overall, my experience as a Supply Co-op for GE Appliances highlights my strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Our senior design team achieved a remarkable feat by winning 3rd place in the world at the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers Annual Conference. Out of the top 20 senior design projects from the most esteemed engineering colleges globally, our project was selected for this prestigious ranking. As the first KSU group to compete internationally, we have proudly placed the university on the map alongside the top engineering programs in the world.

It is bestowed by the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers in recognition of outstanding skills, innovation, and academic excellence.
